I'm mostly known as one of the regulars on Channel 10's 'The Wedge' - for playing Sandra Sultry, the newsreader parody and an inappropriate shopping-centre spruiker, but I also co-created, co-wrote and performed alongside the wonderful Curry brothers in the ABC TV comedy series 'Flipside'. My first major role was playing streetkid 'Mezza', the lead actress in a Channel 7 telemovie called 'Economy Class' by Kevin Carlin and Stephen Luby. The film also starred Bud Tingwell, Denis Moore, Marg Downey and Chris McLean. I appear as the Nurse in the original 'Saw' short film by Leigh Whannell and James Wan and I've played lead guest roles in a host of Aussie TV shows like 'Wilfred', 'City Homicide', 'All Saints', 'Blue Heelers', 'Prank Patrol' and others. I was a Moosehead Award recipient for the comic two-hander stage play 'Footy Chicks' at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and a regular cast ensemble member for the weekly ABC 774 Melbourne Radio serial 'The Breakfast Shift'. I won't try to list all the shorts, indie films, corporates, plays, readings, workshops, TVCs, web series, music videos and voice over jobs I've been involved with over the last 30 years or so.. suffice to say there's been a bunch. I'm also a filmmaker, artist, writer, mum and business owner. I live and work on Boonwurrung Country, in St Kilda in Melbourne, Australia in a fabulous rooftop apartment with my fella, dog and daughter. I run a digital media production company called Cherry Hands Media, and I work part-time as a multimedia producer for Monash University in the DVC Education Portfolio. I run a monthly writer's group called Bum Glue Club, and I'm one of the managers of a wonderful artist-run art studio and gallery, 106 Art: Studios and Gallery in St Kilda. I was represented by a fabulous acting agent on and off for over 20 years. Currently I'm freelance. I don't always have time to work an actor, but for an interesting role or ad-hoc days here and there, I'll find it hard to say no, so please always ask! Happy to audition, meet, chat, do self-tapes, VO subs, playreadings, workshops, or to help others with being a reader for their auditions and self-tapes. I also ran an animation studio for years and I absolutely love doing voice-overs for narrative animation. So definitely call if you need character voices, or straight narration, I do that too and can record from home. I try to keep my Showcast, IMDb and Casting Networks current, but my websites are often a bit out of date because I usually try to prioritise walking the dog and hanging with my family, over spending time online. Nominated for a Golden Gibbo at this year's MICF for my solo comedy show 'Anything But the Dyson and Other Excellent Monologues", I also performed in 'Elysian' by Allison Knight as part of Play Six Festival, filmed a two-hander short drama called "Release", produced by Cinema Viscera and directed by Paul Anthony-Nelson and I play the Boxing Commissioner in Luke Styles' indie boxing feature 'Thunder'. Some other semi-recent credits include performing in the 2025 'Metropolis Monologues' for MWT and one of the two leads in 'Skating in the Clouds' by Clare Mendes at Theatre Works. I've done playreadings for Bill Marshall, Marty MonStar, Emily Farrell, Cerise de Gelder and Samantha Hill. I played the lead role of Jackie in an screenplay reading and proof of concept short for the feature drama 'Tanked' by Kerry Drumm. I worked with Kerry as an emsemble actor to help develop a new play 'Nok'. I've performed in several 'Madwomen Monologues' at The Butterfly Club, and have also written some of the pieces. I filmed a role for Cam Faull's 'Swiping Right' web series; performed in 'Talking in Circles' a Keith Gow play for 'Play Six' (which won Best Production). I play Major Madeline Laughton in the multi-award-winning web-series 'Incoming: Words of War' another by Kerry Drumm (as an ensemble cast we've picked up several awards). I appeared in a 'Reflex Paper' TVC; scored a Best Actor nomination for the Mia'kate Russell short "Maggie May"; play the depressed mum in the 'Tones & I' music video "Never Seen the Rain" (39m+ views); appeared in the Fabiana Weiner multi-award winning web series "Help! The Series' and was invited to perform a piece I wrote, called "Holes in My Sunhat" for 'Memoria Podcast'. Years ago I was one of the regular writer/performers on 'The Wedge' for Ch10 and 'Flipside' for ABC TV. I've been an actor for 'Offspring' director's workshops; in a play called 'Doug Holcombe' at the Owl and the Cat directed by Kieran Carroll; acted in VCA films and indie shorts, done many VOs, taken US accent classes and yes, I've done the fabulous Greg Apps' Audition Technique course.
